Your Host

"My parents once owned a guest house in Scotland and it's been a lifelong dream to have my own small guest house, After living and working all over the world, I have settled down, done with my roaming, and been most fortunate to do so in one the most beautiful places in the world that offers incredible sunsets, mountain and ocean views.

I look forward to hosting you during your stay at DunRoaming. It's always a pleasure to welcome guests and to share my knowledge and love of Cape Town and South Africa!

You might meet one of my five cats aka moggies, all which are rescues that make up my kitty rainbow nation .

First is Moggie (yes it's not a very original name I know), the white beautiful heavy boy who very much loves his food. Then there's Jinja, the orange tabby lion, hunter of note, and Jacko, the shy Michael Jackson outfitted boy with his socks and tuxedo like white markings. Squeak, the girly princess who's very fussy and my latest rescue kitten, Amber, a chatty Calico girl with the unforgettable face and feisty personality.

Animals are a big part of life at DunRoaming, we have wild peacocks with their spring little ones, guinea fowl, ducks, and hadeda's being regulars visitors to the garden, so being animal friendly as a guest is useful (though all guests areas are kept animal free zones!)
